Alfie Davidson
For the coming season we are pleased to be able to join Banks Racing and as a family we are extremely pleased and committed to Alfie’s future with the professional team run by Peter Banks. Alfie is now focused and ready for next season especially with the opportunity to ride in British Talent Cup with Banks Racing.
For the 2021 racing season Alfie was all set ready to compete in the British Talent Cup took part in the first two official BSB tests at Silverstone and Snetterton. Here he showed promise with good results by nearly getting into the top ten.
However, before the first race of the season Alfie had a crash as a result of mechanical breakdown which resulted in a fractured leg. Throughout his recovery Alfie worked hard showing his true resilience and sportsmanship going to every single round spectating and to champion on his fellow riders as well as attending rider briefings.
He is fully recovered now and ready to take the mantle for next years season British Talent Cup. He has spent the last few weeks out on his bike in Spain where he plans more pre-season testing in February and March next year.
Alfie's enthusiasm for racing started at age of seven years old on motocross tracks where he learned to ride and improve his off-road skills. After that he moved to mini bikes by joining the Fab Racing organisation and competed in the British Mini Bikes championships which he has done since 2017. This is where he learned rider craft together with tuition he showed his skills as a competent rider.
